Convert Candidate to Employee

I am just getting started with using MintHCM. It’s my first experience with HR software, so I need some help with basic workflow.
I have created Candidates for a job position and conducted interviews. Now that I’ve selected someone for the job, how do I convert them from a Candidate to an Employee?
Also, if there was a flowchart or basic workflow recommendation, that would help as well.

Hello! If you decide to employ a candidate, you can quickly convert their candidature into an employee record by clicking the “Convert to Employee” button. This action also creates a user, whose status varies depending on your choice in the next step.

Thanks for the reply. I have created a candidature and converted the candidate to an employee. I’ve selected the option to create an account for the user.
The User Type for the employee is set to Regular User, but the default Access to the user is giving them access to EVERYTHING in MintHCM. Shouldn’t the access be restricted for a regular user? Also, how do I change the Access settings?

Ok, so it looks like its controlled by the Role of the employee. where can I change the role of this employee?

ok again… Found it. By default, a role wasn’t assigned to this employee and this default’s the users Access to Full. I believe if a Role isn’t assigned to a user, they should have restricted access. Is this a bug?
