Hello! If you decide to employ a candidate, you can quickly convert their candidature into an employee record by clicking the “Convert to Employee” button. This action also creates a user, whose status varies depending on your choice in the next step.
We will verify how MintHCM works with XAMPP; however, we don’t recommend using XAMPP for our solution. We’ve upgraded our system to PHP 8.0—could you try using that PHP version?
Hi! Could you please let us know which version of MintHCM and PHP you are using?
Hello!
Could you please send us your PHP.log file?
Also, what database are you using? Could you check if you can connect to it independently of the MintHCM software?
Hello! Have you followed the installation guide? You can find it here: https://minthcm.org/support/minthcm-installation-guide/
Also, please check the log files of minthcm, PHP, and database. Do you see any errors there?
Remember, that to enable the installation process, you need to set up the .htaccess file correctly. The index.php script does the following steps to help with installation:
Creates the .htaccess file.
Moves the index.html file.
Removes the index.php file.
You can follow the same steps manually.
For detailed instructions, check this file: https://github.com/minthcm/minthcm/blob/master/index.php
You can find the PHP log depending on your server settings. Usually, it is located in /var/log/…
It looks like something is wrong with the server. Could you send us a PHP.log?
Which database version do you use? Can you confirm if you can access it with those credentials?
Also, please check for any error messages in the “Network” tab in the browser’s console.
Hello,
This problem isn’t related to MintHCM, but to the server configuration. You could try modifying the upload_max_filesize setting in your PHP configuration and set it to a value greater than 6M.
Have you checked your PHP error logs? They might shed some light on what’s causing the problem. Once you have that information, it’ll be easier for the community to help troubleshoot and find a solution.
Could you please let us know which database you’re trying to connect to?
Making sure your database and login details are correct will help us fix the issue.
Hello!
Could you tell me which version of Elasticsearch you have installed? Additionally, could you verify if Elasticsearch is available on this hostname and port?
Please note that Elasticsearch is an essential service for MintHCM installation. If you haven’t installed Elasticsearch yet, you’ll need to do so.
Once Elasticsearch is properly configured, you should be able to see some content when you open the address in a web browser.
We’re planning to update PHP to version 8.2. After switching from PHP 7.3 recently, this is the next thing we’re doing to make our system better.
Hello, we don’t have any experience with KeyCloak. All the information regarding the configuration can be found on our wiki: https://wiki.minthcm.org/index.php?title=Process:Users_Configuration
If you wish to make changes externally, the process remains the same as before, as outlined in the developer setup guide: https://docs.suitecrm.com/developer/api/developer-setup-guide/.
The only modification is to append “/legacy” to the URL. This adjustment ensures that your changes are correctly implemented.
